If you are seeking to have your Root CA cross signed by a Trusted Root CA so that your SSL, email and digital signatures are recognised as Trusted, then you must already have achieved WebTrust certification. If you do not already have WebTrust certification then you will need to select the 'WebTrust & Root CA Cross Signing' option. There is no 'short cut' or 'workaround' to this requirement. The only other alternative is to use Digi-CA™ Service.
