Strong Partnership

The ARP Programme [13] is specifically designed to ensure that both parties benefit equally. Using what we call 'true partnership' we work with you as if we were shareholders in your business. The focus is on:

  • Identifying real & strong business opportunity

  • Calculate the investment/reward benefits of co-operation

  • Ensure strong pre-sales & post sales support

  • Help you establish revenue to volume ratios

  • Plan for initial return and then medium term/ongoing revenue

  • Mechanisms and systems to deliver the agreed business plan

  • Integrate your organisation into our network to expand opportunities

Opportunity Focus   Business opportunities [7] are not always immediately obvious and our approach is to engage regularly in open discussion, market information innovation and where possible, cross collaboration with other members of the ARP Network

Business innovation   Unlike other Certificate Authority [CA] vendors, Digi-Sign thrives on innovation [22] and integration. This is evidenced in situations where there is an existing CA within an organisation and still they use our CA system becuase it is an integral part of some other infrastructure. have delivered our solutions

Shared Revenue   Our business philosophy is that true partners must benefit equally from their combined activities. Once the business case is agreed, your organisation will clearly understand your revenue share on all sales. Regardless of whether they are new sales or the renewal of recurring sales

Profit Focused   Continued business success must be driven by profit. We will not ask you to engage in any opportunity unless the profits (and profit share) are clearly identified from the outset

Recurring Income   All Digi-Sign systems include recurring annual revenue and this helps to build strong growth potential in this profitable business sector for your organisation

Exclusivity Requests

Unfortunately, exclusivity rarely works because if the ARP member fails to perform the region is 'blocked off'. Setting targets (e.g. €1M per annum to maintain exclusivity) leads to disputes and dissatisfaction amongst our ARP members. In short, exclusivity is not in line with the 'spirit' of the ARP Network.

However, what we do in the case of requests for exclusivity is agree not to appoint another ARP member in the region without first talking to the existing members. If there is an opportunity to work with the new ARP member and your organisation as a tri-partnership, we will surely do so.

ARP Membership Rules

As an official member of the Digi-Sign Affiliates, Resellers & Partners [ARP] Network, the following rules are designed to make you an equal member to all other members.  To make this possible, the following simple rules of membership
should be read and understood:

                • How Equal Revenue Share Works

                • How Costs are Handled

                • Roadshows & Marketing Initiatives

                • Why You Should Sell Digi-Sign Systems & Solutions

                • Using the Online Demonstrations

1. Equal Revenue Share

1.1 After base costs only   Revenue is shared equally after base costs are deducted from the total project costs. This is most important where travel, accommodation, personnel costs and other expenses incurred during the project (e.g. a Digi-CA™ Server [46] installation project)

1.2 Discretionary costs

'write-off'

At our sole discretion, we may elect to absorb these costs where possible but this will be explained to you at, or during, the time of the specific project, i.e. there will be 'no surprises'

2. Pre-Sales Costs

2.1 Are your responsibility   In the event that your pre-sales efforts requires that Digi-Sign personnel travel to assist in the pre-sales activities, all travel and accommodation costs must be paid for by your organisation, in advance

2.2 And are refundable   On all successful projects where pre-sales costs have been incurred, these are deducted from the total project costs before the revenue is shared equally

3. 'Roadshows' & Marketing

3.1 Are encouraged   We actively encourage that you organise roadshows where Digi-Sign personnel will assist you in face-to-face presentations and to showcase our portfolio

3.2 With a minimum of three
pre-arranged meetings
Before committing to any roadshow, written confirmation of, at least, three face-to-face presentations is required. We recommend five or six meetings are set to occur over a two day period and preferably on a Monday and Tuesday or a Thursday and Friday as this allows the weekend to be used to reduce travel time

3.3 Travel & accommodation costs must be paid   Roadshows require Digi-Sign personnel to travel and all associated costs must be paid for by your organisation, in advance

3.4 And are refundable   On all successful projects where roadshow costs have been incurred, these are deducted from the total project costs before the revenue is shared equally

4. Why You Should Sell Digi-Sign Systems & Solutions

4.1 More flexible & scalable   Digi-Sign [43] systems and solutions are currently the most flexible and scalable in the market

4.2 Easier to install & maintain   Our offerings [7] are easier to integrate, configure, activate, maintain and administer

4.3 Best revenue share   Our unique revenue share secret will ensure that we help you maximise your ‘bottom line’

5. Online Demonstrations & Conference Calls

5.1 Will reduce the need for
roadshows
Wherever possible, a live and interactive demonstration [16] of the specific solution will be made available to you. These are excellent tools that will assist you in the sales process

5.2 When used properly   All demonstration screens and supporting documentation are designed to ensure you use them properly. So always refer to the online help and/or supporting documents before using them

Activating your Account

If you wish to use our shopping cart to process your orders, or if you want your customers to process their orders directly with us, then follow these simple steps:

  • If you have not already done so, you must register [59]

    • Choose your corporate name (not a personal one)

    • Save your username and password carefully

  • Then email arp@digi-sign.com [60] to have your account enabled

    • Once your account is enabled, order tracking and tracing is possible

    • If you require a dedicated shopping cart, request this in the same email

How to Place Orders

There are two ways that orders will be placed:

  • Either your customer will place their order directly through this website using your dedicated shopping cart, as explained above

  • Or you will use place orders for your customers on the dedicated shopping cart or through the main website shopping cart

To have your customers place orders directly on your dedicated shopping cart, simply send them the URL that was provided to you by the ARP systems team.

If you are placing orders on their behalf, either on your dedicated shopping cart, or the main shopping cart, use the following instructions to ensure you get charged at the correct rate, as documented in your ARP Agreement.

1. How to access your ARP Extranet system

1.1 Digi-Access™ certificate required   Access to your ARP quotation system is protected by Digi-Access™ two factor authentication. To get your Digi-Access™ certificate complete this online ARP application form [63]

1.2 Login to access the quotation system   Once logged in, a customised quotation system, specific to your ARP membership [40] can then be used to generate quotations for your customers. 2. Quotes & Orders on the ARP Extranet System

2.1 Use the quote / ordering system   Once logged in, a customised ordering system, specific to your ARP membership [40] can then be used to generate quotations for your customers. This customised quotation engine is very similar to the standard Digi-Access™ online ordering [65] system

2.2 Every field must be completed correctly   The ordering system information must be completed correctly because this information is used to technically configure the system you are ordering. In particular, you should understand the difference between you, the person placing the order and your customer, for whom the system will be activated

2.3 Name/Code & Region   On this first page of the ordering form, all fields have a Help button to assist you in completing this form correctly. 2.5 Order Details   The information on this form is very important both technically and commercially, so complete this form carefully. Pay careful attention to the 'URL Referrer' (specific technical information) and 'Billing Information' (dictates the details of the invoice that will be issued) fields

2.6 Payment method to complete   The information on this form is important both commercially and for tax reasons. Pay careful attention to the 'Country' (tax information that dictates whether the invoice will have sales tax/VAT applied) field
