Instructions for Control Centre

AACD™ Control Centre User Instructions

PDF Throughout this online manual, it is explained that layered and improved security are central to the AACD™ design and to ‘harden’ security the DSSA™ does not receive any commands other than direct inputs using the IIS GUI or command prompts, in the case of Apache. This is a security feature of the DSSA™ designed specifically to improve your organizations overall security policies and practices.

As explained in the multi-server environment where many servers cannot have direct/indirect connection to the internet, then the CSG™ appliance must be placed inside your network environment. Once installed, the CSG™ acts as an authentication gateway only. This means that unauthorized access to the CSG™ does not impact on the security of your environment and again this is a security feature of the AACD™ system.

The CSG™ designed specifically to improve your organizations overall security policies and practices. As an authentication gateway, the CSG™ can simply disable the authentication of a specific DSSA™ request and this means that central control of the SSLs on your network is possible without the need to centrally store sensitive server information that would undermine your networks security.

As is the case with the security design of the DSSA™, the AACD™ Control Centre that is accessed on the CSG™ has only a limited set of commands that makes simple to use and also make the your network more secure. The following sub sections provide the instructions for using the AACD™ Control Centre.
